Paint Touch-Up & Air Brush Repairs
This service is generally for repairing missing paint resulting from scratches, rock chips and small areas of missing paint. The most important factor with missing paint is to protect metal from future decay with a new coat of paint.
If you require the affected area to be repaired with blending into the surrounding paint please consider our air brush service. If the damaged area is missing paint in an area larger than a couple of inches, the repair may be better suited to a traditional body shop repair. Please contact us to discuss your options.
Touch-Up Paint Repair Process:
- Machine polish affected area to remove superficial scuffs and scratches.
- Fill in missing paint with paint pen or equivalent.
Air Brush Repair Process:
- Machine polish affected area to remove superficial scuffs and scratches.
- Wet sand area to be repaired
- Fill missing paint with 2k body filler
- Mask off area to be painted
- Spray primer, paint and 2k clear coat to blend into the surrounding area
